After buying FF's new Sony Nex-5N (Twin Kit Lens), we went to Secret Recipe (SM Megamall) for a quick dinner munch.

I did like the food very much (Grilled Black Pepper Chicken, Lamb something...). I'll never hesitate to come back and dine here again. :) My only gripe is that the cake base is kinda dry? Did not expect that given its price.. but the cake's tasty enough though :D  Good thing it's free this time. lol.

Tip:

- Unless you are trying out a specific food menu item, put their best seller items on top of your order list (the one with the star symbol on their menu). Ordered I.B.J. (not a best seller) since I wasn't able to taste it last time. After finishing the meal, I really hoped that I had ordered a best seller instead. :D  Still completely satisfied! Grilled goodness! :d

Big Daddy's Chicken (October Chicken Day Part 2)

Went back to Big Daddy's Chicken today for my lunch. Was there yesterday.

BD Chicken Chops. Lemon Flavor. Almost no difference in taste compared
to the Original flavor. Just the smell.

Hmm.. I think there's something enticing about these chicken chops. >.<

Big Daddy's Chicken (October Chicken Day)

It's the 23rd of the month. Meaning, it's CHICKEN DAY for me! :d

Chose Big Daddy's Chicken as venue for my October Chicken Day. It's my first time here.

This chicken day thing started July 23 (my father's birthday) this year. Aside from adding a little excitement to my lunch experience, I do this (eat chicken) to remember my beloved earthly father hehe. He worked once at Kentucky Fried Chicken and he's a really good cook.
[Note: I still eat chicken even if it's not chicken day. As a matter of fact, I eat chicken almost everyday. Haha!]

BD Chicken Chop + Rice + Soup (P120.00)

Original flavor has a faint taste/smell of cinnamon. The chop is not as
crispy as I'd expected, but still crispy. Moderately crispy on the outside and soft
on the inside. The original flavor mix is a slightly salty, but still OK. Tasty!

Mushroom Soup

Small chicken bones (first thought the chop was boneless)

Overall food experience is goooodie :)

Will definitely come back again next time to try other flavors.

Sir Terrence To, our IBM project team lead, went to CPI-QS for a visit this morning to discuss some work-related issues. He treated the team for lunch later on (at Segafrado Z, as expected. this is the 2nd time). 

An opportunity for another food review! For free! :D

What I ate:

- baked bolognese pasta (penne/ziti)

- sausage pizza, bacon/mushroom pizza (group order)

- lemon iced tea for drinks

Sausage Pizza

Quick review:
- pricey $_$ (will only come back here if it's free. even if i have enough money, I'll eat elsewhere)
- their baked bolognese platter is above average, though not excellent (taste-wise). did not have a 'cloud-9' experience. Serving amount is average. There were generous small chunks of tomato (though some may not like this) which makes the taste more Italian. But for the price (P330/regular size), I've tasted better.
- the pizza has a very (very) thin and crispy crust, which I like. Taste is more of 'homemade' rather than 'restauranty or fast foody', but it is definitely not tastier compared to Pizza Hut, Shakeys, Sbarro's, etc.
- their iced tea is not your common nestea iced tea. it has a full-er taste of lemon tea. it's the least i expect for the P135.00 drink. i had 5 1/2 glasses, i think.
- when you want your iced tea to be refilled, they will take your glass instead of them coming to you to refill it. i don't prefer this because the glasses may be mixed up if the server took them at the same time. When the server returned my & terrence's glass, i'm not sure whether he is sure he gave the correct glass to the respective owner. Good thing I saw a thread of cheese from my pasta hanging on one of the glasses. it confirmed that the glass was mine. Not good.
- my drink order was a LEMON iced tea. i asked them to refill my glass for the last time before going. sir terrence noticed that the color was darker.. True enough, it was not lemon iced tea anymore. They gave me a PEACH-flavored iced tea. Fyi, I don't like peach (but I sipped some of it anyway). Not not not good service if you ask me. What if sir terrence didn't notice, and I'm allergic to peach? T_T ..but it's okay mr. server, I forgive you :)  Was satisfied with the food overall. 'Twas good! Fine food! Yumyum :d
