McDonalds Double Choco Frappe

Since it's 12-12-12 today, I decided to try something different and make it somehow memorable. I originally planned to buy myself a Milk Tea for the first time ever, but did not push through since I was kinda tired that night to go to Happy Lemon.

Background: My first milk tea experience was quite horrible. I was forced to drink my sister's milk tea (Sweet Surrender) during her birthday treat at Hainanese Delights SM Megamall since she did not like it. I expected that I won't like it too, but was not expecting the taste to be almost unbearable (for me at least). But I thought that I'll give it another try since I did not mix the milk tea that time and may have sipped the pure tea part. I also didn't like the flavor (strawberry and rose syrup).

Enter the McDonald's Double Choco Frappe! Php 120.00 Medium, Php 130.00 Large size.

The frappe was made upon order not like those pre-made drinks. If my memory serves me right, I saw the McCafe lady use the ff. ingredients while preparing it.
- ice
- chocolate flavor base (syrup)
- milk
- whip cream
- chocolate syrup
- chocolate powder

As expected from a chocolate milkshake junkie, I was in Cloud9-mode upon sipping my drink. But after finishing the whole thing, I kinda felt guilty when I thought of the amount of calories I've just taken.. ^___^'

McDo Tip #1: On Cheeseburger-Chicken Fillet Meal

When I eat at McDonalds, I usually buy a cheeseburger meal and chicken fillet with rice. Since I got used to buying the Php 75.00 cheeseburger value meal before, I order my order in this order.

- Cheeseburger Value Meal (w/ Reg. Fries, Reg. Coke) = Php 75.00
- Chicken Fillet w/ Rice Ala-carte = Php 47.00
- Total: Php 122.00

Fortunately, one evening last month when I'm at Mcdonalds to eat, the line was somehow long and I got a chance to re-read their menu..... I found out that I was ordering my order in the wrong order. Here's how it should be:

- Chicken Fillet w/ Rice Value Meal = Php 50.00
- Cheeseburger Ala-carte = Php 39.00
- Regular Fries Ala-carte = Php 27.00
- Total: Php 116.00!

The exact same order, order it in a different order, then you get a Php 6.00 difference.

That's it! 'Till next McDo tip. Happy eating and happy saving! ;)

How to eat your Mcdo Cheeseburger meal with style

Want to eat your Mcdo Cheeseburger meal with style? Here are 10 steps how :D

~ Let's Start ~

Step 1: Order a cheeseburger meal (P75) first then upsize your fries (P18).
Medium French Fries
Regular Coke
4 Sachets of Tomato Ketchup (this is very important)
Cheese Burger
Step 2: Pray and thank God for the food you are about to partake. Thank Him also for the blessings.

Step 3:  Pour out the crispy french fries from its container.

Step 4: Discharge the 4 ketchup sachets. Spurt it all out.

Step 5: Remove the wrapping of the cheese burger. Place the burger very gently on your tray.

Step 6: Put the empty ketchup sachets and cheeseburger wrapping inside the french fries container.

Step 7: Thoroughly inspect your burger for defects of any sort.

Step 8: Smell the aroma of onions and pickles from your burger. This will drastically improve your appetite.

Step 9: Devour that burger. Much those fries. Finish your coke!

Step 10: When you're finished, show that happy, satisfied face. (Burp!)
